Singing bowls produce sounds which invoke a deep state of relaxation which naturally assists one in entering into meditation, the ultimate goal being enlightenment.
While many health claims have been made regarding these bowls, science shows they can induce deep states of relaxation, and wellness. They have been used in holistic healing and psychotherapeutic arts extensively. Some people use the bowls and bells to bring about a state of calmness when receiving medical treatments, as various sound and music practices have been shown to be quite effective before, during and after surgery, for instance.
Much like the ancient Tibetan Bowls, the crystal bowls can be used as sound tools. Coupling awareness and intent in their use can demonstrably increase their effectiveness. By simply listening to the rich, pure, vibrant tone of a bowl, most sound recipients find them deeply relaxing, rejuvenating, even stirring of deep emotions and states of well being. By utilizing awareness techniques, a practitioner can guide the recipient into states of clarity, balancing of chakra centers, and much more.
The forks have been used successfully for years in our practices to clear and align the biofield in humans and animals.
Playing the bells usually causes an immediate centering effect. The tones set up a "frequency following response" that creates a balancing left/right brain synchronization
Vibrational Therapy/Medicine (also known as Vibrational Healing) is the art and science of consciously bringing vibrational frequencies back into harmonic alignment through the use of vibratory tools, including light, color, sound, crystals and aromatherapy. Once balance is restored, the dis-ease often falls away.
